  There are a few choices to choose from. split system are the most common installation for domestic customers, where you install the indoor unit on the wall in the chosen room then drill a hole to the outside and connect the pipework, cables & drain to an outdoor unit fixed to the wall or floor mounted. some outdoor unit can be connected to more then one indoor unit (Multi split system). Ducted system require a bit more planning as the require more space to be installed. they are normally installed in the loft space, then the indoor to outdoor route can be planned.
